Biography

David Caparelliotis recently opened MelCap Casting with partner Mele Nagler, and continues in his role as Casting Director at Manhattan Theatre Club. Notable MTC: John Patrick Shanley's Doubt and Defiance, David Lindsay-Abaire's Rabbit Hole, David Harrower's Blackbird, Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius and Donald Margulies' Sight Unseen and Brooklyn Boy. Other: Shockheaded Peter, Alterboyz, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Modern Orthodox directed by James Lapine, Lifegame, The Subject was Roses (Timmy) at the Kennedy Center in D.C., and the Off-B'way and National Tour companies of Jonathan Larson's Tick Tick Boom. David and Mele are casting the Williamstown Theatre Festival 08 Summer Season, as well as projects for the Atlantic Theatre Company and Ars Nova. David is a member of the Casting Society of America.
